Extreme Sports Festival - 19 to 21 September 2008 - Yaverland
With Over 500 competitors from more than 40 countries, including 18 World Champions, this year’s White Air is set to be the biggest and best yet!
The event kicks off with the RAF Falcons parachute display team dropping in on Friday, and the aerial acrobatics continue with the Red Arrows taking to the skies on both Saturday and Sunday. On the water spectators can enjoy watching powerboats skipping across the Solent and leaping through the air as they compete in the Thundercat European Championship.
Featured sports include the Windsurf UK Freestyle Championships, Kitesurfing, Surf, BMX, European Mountain Board Freestyle competition, Parkour, Kayak, Jet Ski and much much more! Plus, for the beginner or the curious there are twenty one sports you can try for yourself. Sign up in advance to have a go at sports ranging from speedminton to sky diving!
The Live stage positioned on the beach will be providing three days and two nights of live DJs and groups including the likes of Rob da Bank (the BBC Radio 1 DJ and Bestival curator) and the Pigeon Detectives who will be headlining on the Saturday night - see the special Live Stage and Party Pass Ticket below which gives full access to the event during the day and admission to the live music in the evening.
How to Buy your White Air Tickets
Choose from either individual Day Tickets (Fri, Sat or Sun),Weekend Tickets or the exclusive Live Stage and Party Pass. Please select the quantity you require and add them to the basket, you can then add ferry travel and bus tickets if required. Tickets MUST be collected from the check-in booth if you are travelling by car or bike, or from the ticket office if you are travelling on foot. Please have your order number ready for collection.
